A raiding team from Alipur police station intercepted Pardeep, also known as Sehwag, a history-sheeter and active member of the Tillu gang. The seizure from Pardeep's premises revealed a criminal enterprise that has evolved far beyond simple street violence into a sophisticated operation.
Recovered from the site was a black Mahindra Scorpio (DL8CAY93xx) modified with advanced bulletproof shielding, indicating that gang members are preparing for high-intensity retaliatory actions typical of the ongoing Gogi-Tillu rivalry. This tactical vehicle represents a significant escalation in the gang's operational capabilities.
Financial Machinery Exposed
Beyond physical armor, the crackdown exposed the gang's extensive financial machinery. Police seized nearly Rs 20 lakh in cash, approximately two kilograms of gold and silver, 13 expensive wristwatches, and two laptops specifically used for managing large-scale betting operations. With 27 mobile phones recovered, investigators believe this cell functioned as a clearing house for protection money and gambling debts, which serve as primary funding sources for the gang's procurement of high-end weaponry.
The seizure of seven keypad phones during the operation revealed an interesting tactical choice by the criminal elements. Unlike modern smartphones, these low-tech devices lack GPS tracking, complex operating systems, and integrated cloud accounts, making them significantly harder for authorities to monitor and intercept communications.

The profile of arrested individuals confirms a deliberate recruitment strategy employed by the criminal networks. Pardeep, identified as the mastermind with seven previous criminal involvements including robbery and rioting, utilized muscle from outside Delhi to insulate local operations. Associates Vikash Sindhu and Sahil, both from Karnal, Haryana, served as primary enforcers whose role involved using seized firearms to threaten and recover betting proceeds from debtors.
Targeting the Arms Supply Chain
The second phase of the crackdown specifically targeted the gang's weapons supply chain. Police teams intercepted an illegal arms transaction on the UER-2 Road near Bawana, apprehending Ravi Singh, Mohammed Sahil, and Mohammed Akram despite their attempted escape on motorcycles. This wing of the syndicate was responsible for the mobility and procurement of desi kattas and revolvers, ensuring the gang remained adequately armed for both offensive strikes and territorial defense.
According to Joint Commissioner Vijay Singh, authorities seized 10 firearms including a 12-bore shotgun, country-made revolvers, and semi-automatic pistols, along with 45 live rounds of varying calibers (9 mm, .32 bore, .315 bore) and multiple magazines.
