The woman has accused the CEO of sexual harassment, inappropriate behavior, intimidation, mental harassment, and abuse of authority during her internship period.
Complaint Details
According to the complainant, the incidents of misconduct occurred repeatedly while she was working as an intern at the company. She alleged that the CEO subjected her to unwelcome advances, made lewd comments, and created a hostile work environment. The victim also claimed that she faced threats and psychological pressure when she attempted to resist the CEO's advances.
Police Response
Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including those related to sexual harassment and criminal intimidation. A senior officer stated, "An FIR has been registered based on the complaint received. We are verifying all facts and further investigation is underway." The police have assured a thorough probe into the matter.
Legal Context
The victim's identity has been withheld in accordance with Supreme Court directives on cases involving sexual assault, to protect her privacy. The company has not yet issued an official statement regarding the allegations.
