Delhi Police Crack Triple Murder Case Involving Tantrik's Poisoned Laddoos

In a chilling revelation, Delhi Police have successfully solved the mysterious triple murder case that occurred on Outer Delhi's Peeragarhi flyover. The authorities have arrested a self-styled godman, identified as Kamruddin alias 'Baba', for allegedly poisoning two property dealers and a woman with laddoos laced with toxic substances to rob them of Rs 2 lakh during a fraudulent ritual.

Discovery of the Bodies and Initial Investigation

The case unfolded when the bodies of three individuals were discovered inside a car on the flyover on a Sunday morning. Randhir Singh, aged 76, was found dead in the driver's seat, while Shiv Naresh Singh, 47, and Laxmi Devi, 40, were motionless in the back seat. Initial examinations revealed no external injuries, prompting police to rule out suicide based on family statements and delve deeper into a potential murder investigation.

Relatives of Randhir and Shiv, both property dealers from Najafgarh's Baprola village, confirmed their acquaintance but expressed no knowledge of Laxmi. This discrepancy led investigators to pursue leads, with Laxmi's family providing a crucial clue: she had been in contact with a godman, setting the stage for a breakthrough.

Technical Analysis and Arrest of the Accused

Through meticulous analysis of call detail records and location data, police traced the movements of the victims. It was revealed that all three had traveled to Loni in Ghaziabad a day before their deaths and were in communication with 'Baba'. On the fateful day, they revisited Loni, and further evidence indicated a fourth person, later identified as Kamruddin, had accompanied them in the car during the return journey to Delhi before disembarking.

Kamruddin, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad who operated tantric centers in Loni and Firozabad, was subsequently apprehended. During interrogation, he initially attempted to mislead authorities but eventually confessed to his involvement. He admitted to meeting Laxmi two months prior through an acquaintance, after which she introduced him to Shiv and Randhir.

The Deceptive Ritual and Poisoning Scheme

According to police statements, Kamruddin convinced the trio to perform a 'pooja' for 'Dhanvarsha', promising them unexpected financial gains. He instructed them to bring Rs 2 lakh in cash along with liquor and cold drinks for the ritual. During the car ride, he allegedly prepared laddoos mixed with poison and persuaded the victims to consume them along with the beverages.

After they lost consciousness, Kamruddin allegedly stole the cash and fled, abandoning the vehicle on the flyover. DCP (Outer Delhi) Sachin Sharma detailed the sequence of events, noting that technical and circumstantial evidence strongly corroborates Kamruddin's presence in the car at the critical time.

Background of the Accused and Ongoing Investigation

Investigators revealed that Kamruddin has a criminal history, with previous bookings in serious cases across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Police are now examining whether he may have targeted other individuals using similar deceptive tactics, as some of his former clients have reportedly died under suspicious circumstances or gone missing.

An officer involved in the case explained that Kamruddin lured victims by promising quick wealth multiplication through occult practices and tantrik rituals, projecting himself as capable of doubling or tripling money. A case has been registered at Paschim Vihar East police station, with further investigation, including forensic analysis to identify the exact poison used, currently underway.

This case highlights the dangers of falling prey to fraudulent spiritual practices and underscores the diligent efforts of Delhi Police in unraveling complex criminal schemes through advanced investigative techniques.
