Deoghar Police Crack Brutal Decapitation Murder Case, Arrest Three Suspects

In a significant breakthrough, the Deoghar police in Dumka district have successfully solved the gruesome case involving the recovery of a decapitated body from Thadhi village earlier this week. The authorities have arrested three individuals, including two women, in connection with this heinous crime that has shocked the local community.

Victim Identified as Car Driver Dilip Kumar Turi

According to Deoghar Superintendent of Police Saurabh, the victim has been identified as 35-year-old Dilip Kumar Turi. Turi worked as the driver of a car owned by Babita Singh, who also goes by the alias Payal Devi, and is a resident of Baidyanathpur. The investigation revealed that Turi's employment with Babita Singh played a central role in the motive behind his murder.

Conspiracy and Brutal Execution of the Crime

SP Saurabh detailed the chilling sequence of events that led to the murder. "Babita Singh discovered that Dilip Kumar Turi was sharing details of her personal activities with other people. To eliminate him permanently, she conspired with her acquaintances, Payal Rout and Sanjiv Kumar, both from the Karnibag locality," the police official stated.

The accused trio meticulously planned the crime, luring Turi to an isolated and secluded location. There, they carried out the brutal act of slitting his throat and decapitating him. The decapitation was specifically intended to conceal the victim's identity and hinder any potential identification. After committing the murder, the perpetrators callously dumped the headless corpse near Thadhi village.

Swift Police Action and Investigation

Following the discovery of the decapitated body, the Deoghar police acted promptly by forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT). This dedicated team was led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ashok Kumar Singh, who spearheaded the investigative efforts.

"The SIT utilized a combination of advanced technical surveillance and traditional human intelligence to piece together the evidence and track down the culprits. Through diligent and relentless efforts, the police were able to crack the case comprehensively and apprehend all three accused individuals," SP Saurabh explained.

The successful resolution of this case highlights the effectiveness of coordinated police work in tackling serious crimes. The arrests have brought a measure of relief to the concerned residents while underscoring the commitment of law enforcement to deliver justice in even the most challenging investigations.
