A domestic worker has been booked for allegedly stealing Rs 25 lakh from a house in Bengaluru's Jnanabharathi Layout. The police have recovered Rs 15 lakh in cash from her possession. According to police officials, a complaint was registered on April 7 by the homeowner, who reported that the domestic help had taken a substantial amount of money from the residence. The accused was identified and apprehended following a thorough investigation. The recovered cash has been handed over to the complainant. Further interrogation is underway to ascertain if any accomplices were involved and to recover the remaining stolen amount.
