The ED's probe has focused on the role of influential political figures, including Madan Mitra, who is accused of using his position to secure jobs for unqualified individuals in exchange for bribes.

Details of the Raids

ED officials raided seven locations linked to Mitra, including his residence and offices, seizing documents and digital evidence. The raids are part of a broader investigation into the scam, which has already led to several arrests and the questioning of other TMC leaders.
