Sathasivam had reported to the police on March 6 that a cow and a calf were stolen from his garden. Acting swiftly on the complaint, the police launched an inquiry that led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the accused. "The stolen cows were recovered, and a pickup van used to transport the stolen cows was also seized," stated Erode district Superintendent of Police A Sujatha, highlighting the effectiveness of the police operation.
