Mohan Jadhav, a 51-year-old sub-inspector with the state excise department, had just participated in the flag-hoisting ceremony along with other staff members and police officers. According to eyewitness accounts, Jadhav was seen taking photographs with his colleagues in a moment of camaraderie. Suddenly, he complained of dizziness and collapsed on the spot, sending shockwaves through the gathering.
Harshvardhan Shinde, the superintendent of police for the state excise in Dharashiv district, provided details about the emergency response. "The local staffers immediately rushed him to the sub-district hospital at Omerga in a private vehicle," Shinde stated. "Despite their swift efforts, he was declared dead by doctors before any treatment could be initiated."

Authorities revealed that Jadhav had been suffering from diabetes but had no known history of heart ailments prior to this tragic incident. A post-mortem examination was conducted at Omerga hospital to determine the exact cause of death.
