The accused, identified as Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Ghal Khurd village in Ferozepur district, made a chilling extortion call demanding a hefty sum of money.

The Extortion Call That Triggered the Case

The incident came to light when a prominent jeweller from Abohar filed a formal complaint with the police. He reported receiving a threatening phone call from an individual who claimed to be gangster Arzoo Bishnoi. The caller demanded a large amount of money and issued dire threats against the businessman and his family if his demands were not met. Their investigation led them to Jaswinder Singh, who was apprehended from his village.

Unmasking the Accused: A Graduate's Criminal Ambition
