Thiruvananthapuram: In a startling discovery, the remains of a preserved fetus, estimated to be approximately six months old, were found within the premises of the Government Medical College Hospital (MCH) in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday morning. Security personnel made the grim find during their routine rounds at around 7 am in the parking area adjacent to the multi-specialty block of the hospital. Upon discovery, hospital authorities were promptly notified, leading to the immediate arrival of the Medical College police at the scene.
