The Chandigarh Police have apprehended five juveniles in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Suraj, who was fatally attacked with sharp-edged weapons in Daria village. According to police sources, the accused harbored an old grudge against the victim, which led to the violent incident.

The altercation occurred a few days prior to the murder, as both parties were involved in a scuffle. On the day of the crime, the juveniles attacked Suraj in the Daria market area. Police Investigation
