Kolkata: Four individuals accused of stealing Rs 7 lakh from a car in the Burrabazar area earlier this year have been apprehended by Lalbazar detectives. The suspects were produced before a local court, which remanded them to police custody until June 22.
Arrest Details
The arrests were made following a thorough investigation by the detective department. The accused are believed to have targeted a parked vehicle and made off with the cash. The police have not yet disclosed the identities of the arrested individuals.
Legal Proceedings
After their arrest, the suspects were presented before a magistrate, who granted the police custody to facilitate further interrogation. The investigation is ongoing to determine if the accused were involved in similar crimes in the past.
