Four Arrested in Ranchi for Shooting Man Following Speeding Argument During Party

In a shocking incident in Ranchi, four individuals were arrested on Monday in connection with the shooting of a man identified as Sandeep Toppo. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Ratu police station the previous night, leading to swift police action.

Details of the Arrest and Recovery

Rural Superintendent of Police Praveen Pushkar confirmed that the accused have been identified as Vineet Khalko, Rohit Tigga, Shivraj Oroan, and Alok Oraon. During the arrest, authorities recovered a country-made pistol and a cartridge from the suspects, highlighting the severity of the crime.

Sequence of Events Leading to the Shooting

The incident unfolded during a party hosted by Alok Oraon to celebrate his father's retirement. According to police reports, the group went to a shop to purchase liquor, with Sandeep Toppo driving the vehicle. An argument erupted when the accused objected to Sandeep's speeding, which escalated quickly.
