His elder brother, Krinal Mandaliya, aged 38, subsequently lodged a formal complaint at the Ghoghra Road police station, naming four accused: Pintu alias Chaska Maskawalla, Ravi Khokhar, Gopal, and Lala Satiya.
According to the complaint, Mehul had been grappling with significant financial difficulties in his catering business for approximately six months. To cope with these challenges, he borrowed money from multiple sources at exorbitantly high interest rates. Krinal stated that whenever he inquired about the loans, Mehul would avoid detailed discussions, merely assuring that the matter would be resolved soon.
