Tyre Bursts Trigger Fatal Road Accidents in Haryana, Killing Four

In a tragic series of events, four individuals lost their lives in two separate road accidents in Haryana's Fatehabad and Sirsa districts, both incidents triggered by sudden tyre bursts that caused vehicles to lose control and crash into roadside trees. Police authorities confirmed the details on Sunday, highlighting the devastating consequences of these mechanical failures on rural roads.

Fatehabad Accident Claims Lives of Two Waiters

The first incident occurred on Sunday morning near Jandali Kalan village along the Fatehabad-Bhuna road. According to police reports, a vehicle experienced a tyre burst, leading the driver to lose control before the car violently rammed into a tree. This accident resulted in the deaths of two waiters and left eight other passengers injured, with two of them in critical condition.

A passing traffic police team promptly rushed to the scene, providing immediate assistance and transporting the injured to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. The bodies of the deceased were sent to the civil hospital for post-mortem examinations to determine the exact causes of death.

Among the injured are Rahul and Sahil, both also residents of Guladi village, who remain in critical condition and are receiving intensive medical treatment.

Sirsa Incident Kills Aunt and Nephew Duo

In a separate and equally heartbreaking accident on Saturday evening, an aunt and her nephew died after their vehicle crashed into a tree between Khedi and Kumhariya villages in Sirsa district. The car driver sustained serious injuries in the collision and has been hospitalized.

Police investigations revealed that the trio was returning from Rajasthan when their car's tyre burst, causing the driver to lose control before the vehicle struck a tree. The deceased have been identified as Israil, a 29-year-old resident of Bhodia Khera village in Fatehabad, and his aunt Dhapa, a 50-year-old from Teliyan Wali Dhani in Rajasthan. The injured driver, Mehboob, aged 26, has been admitted to a hospital and is under medical observation.

Police Response and Safety Concerns

Local police authorities have launched thorough investigations into both accidents to ascertain the precise circumstances and potential contributing factors. These incidents underscore critical road safety issues, particularly the dangers associated with tyre failures on highways and rural routes.

Experts emphasize the importance of regular vehicle maintenance, including tyre checks, to prevent such tragedies. The high number of fatalities and injuries in these cases highlights the urgent need for enhanced road safety measures and public awareness campaigns in the region.

As the communities mourn these losses, authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution and ensure their vehicles are in optimal condition before embarking on journeys, especially on long-distance routes.
