Ghaziabad Dog Trainer Arrested for Alleged Rape and Blackmail of Woman in Kaushambi
A shocking case has emerged from Ghaziabad where a 25-year-old dog trainer has been arrested for allegedly raping and blackmailing a woman in the Kaushambi area. The incident came to light after the victim's mother filed a formal complaint with the police, detailing a disturbing pattern of abuse and intimidation that spanned over a year.
Complaint Details Harrowing Sequence of Events
The complaint, registered on January 26, reveals that the accused was hired approximately a year ago to train the family's dog. The woman lived alone with her two daughters, and the trainer visited their residence three times a week. According to the mother's statement, the trainer developed a physical relationship with her daughter and secretly recorded objectionable videos and photos of the woman.
The mother explicitly stated in her complaint: "The trainer came to our house for the first time in November 2024. He used to come thrice a week between 6 and 7 pm." She further alleged that in February of last year, when other family members were absent, the trainer forced himself onto her daughter and sexually assaulted her.
Pattern of Blackmail and Threats Unfolds
Following the alleged assault, the situation escalated into a campaign of blackmail. The mother claimed that the trainer took objectionable photos of her daughter and threatened to make them viral if she disclosed the incident to anyone. Even after the family relocated to a new house in December 2025, the threats persisted.
The complaint detailed specific instances of coercion:
- The accused forced the victim to meet him in hotel rooms on multiple occasions.
- When she refused, he allegedly assaulted her.
- He called her from different phone numbers, warning that if she informed the police, he would commit suicide and blame his death on the family.
Police Intervention and FIR Registration
The mother approached Ghaziabad's Police Commissioner, J Ravindra Goud, on January 23, leading to the registration of a First Information Report at the Kaushambi police station on January 26. ACP Indirapuram, Abhishek Srivastava, confirmed that an FIR has been filed against the accused under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
The charges include:
- Section 64(1) for rape
- Section 115(2) for voluntarily causing hurt
- Section 351(2) for criminal intimidation
Accused's Version of Events
During police interrogation, the trainer presented a different narrative. He admitted to being employed at the woman's residence for three months, during which they initiated conversations and exchanged phone numbers. The accused claimed they were in a consensual relationship and that he had recorded videos of the woman during this period.
However, he asserted that after their relationship ended, the phone containing the photos of the complainant's daughter broke and was no longer in his possession. This claim contrasts sharply with the allegations of ongoing blackmail and threats described in the FIR.
The case highlights serious concerns about safety and trust violations in domestic settings, particularly involving service providers who gain access to private homes. Police investigations are ongoing to verify the conflicting accounts and gather further evidence.
