According to fire department officials, the blaze started at an auto parts manufacturing unit and quickly spread to a nearby oil factory before being brought under control.

The fire department received an alert around 12 PM regarding a fire at the Charan Autotech factory. Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal stated that fire tenders from the Sahibabad and Vaishali stations were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, responders discovered that the flames had already extended to the Bharat Oil Factory located at Site-4.
The situation was described as critical, with intense flames and thick black smoke billowing from both factories. One officer noted the severity of the conditions, prompting a call for additional resources.
Firefighting Efforts and Damage Assessment
To combat the escalating fire, more fire tenders were summoned from multiple stations, including Kotwali, Modinagar, Loni, Hapur, and Gautam Budh Nagar. A total of ten fire tenders were deployed to extinguish the blaze.
CFO Rahul Pal provided details on the damage, explaining that the tin shed of the Charan Autotech factory had collapsed, leading to substantial destruction of auto parts inventory. The front section of this factory was heavily stocked with flammable materials such as plastic, thermocol, and packaging material, which likely fueled the fire's intensity.
Fortunately, the Bharat Oil Factory suffered minimal damage, as firefighters managed to contain the spread early on. No casualties were reported in the incident, which officials attribute to the swift and coordinated response.
