Ghaziabad Teen Dies After Jumping from 15th Floor

A 15-year-old girl allegedly jumped to her death from the 15th floor of a highrise in Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad, on Tuesday afternoon. Police reported that the girl was distressed after her mother scolded her earlier in the day. No suicide note was recovered, and an investigation is ongoing.

According to ACP (Kotwali) Upasana Pandey, the girl resided in the highrise society with her parents and brother. She stayed home from school on Tuesday due to an eye infection, while her brother was at school and her father was at work. Police received information that a girl jumped from the 15th floor around 2:15 pm.

A police team arrived at the scene and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival. Autopsy results are awaited. The forensic team inspected the site, and the investigation is underway, police added.

In a similar incident on April 7, an 18-year-old girl fell to her death under mysterious circumstances from the 16th floor of a tower in a highrise society in Indirapuram. On February 14, a 23-year-old woman died after allegedly consuming poison in Wave City's Mehrauli area.
