During the altercation, Velip allegedly escalated the situation by assaulting Pejsova with a stone and pulling her hair. This violent act resulted in injuries to the Czech national, who was left in distress at the scene. Following the attack, Velip fled from the area, leaving Pejsova to seek help.

After the incident, a passer-by noticed Pejsova and promptly took her to a private hospital for necessary medical treatment. Upon receiving her formal complaint, the Canacona police launched a thorough investigation into the matter.
