Godwoman Dupes Bengaluru Family in Evil Spirit Ritual

A self-styled godwoman has been accused of duping a family in Bengaluru by staging a ritual to ward off evil spirits. The incident came to light after the family filed a complaint with the local police.

The Alleged Fraud

According to the complaint, Naveeda Sultana visited the family's residence and claimed that Mohin's younger brother was under the influence of evil forces. She warned that he faced a life-threatening danger and offered to perform a ritual to remove the curse.

The family, fearing for their relative's safety, agreed to the ritual. Sultana demanded a significant sum of money for the ceremony, which the family paid. After the ritual, she left the premises, and the family later realized they had been deceived.
