Tragic Collision Claims Three Lives in Gonda District
A devastating road accident in Gonda district resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a teenager, on Sunday evening. The incident occurred when their motorcycle was involved in a head-on collision with an unidentified vehicle.
Details of the Fatal Incident
According to police reports, the tragedy unfolded around 8:30 PM near Buknapur village. The victims—identified as Amardeep (23), Shyam (15), and Ritik (20)—were traveling on a single motorcycle from Babhnan towards Gaura Chowki when the collision occurred.
Additional Superintendent of Police (East) Manoj Rawat stated that an unidentified vehicle rammed into their motorcycle head-on with significant force. The impact was so severe that all three riders were thrown onto the roadside, sustaining critical injuries.
Emergency Response and Investigation
Passersby who witnessed the accident immediately rushed to assist the injured youths. They were transported to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Gaur for emergency medical treatment. Unfortunately, doctors at the facility declared all three victims dead upon arrival.
Police authorities have confirmed that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact causes of death. A formal case is being registered, and investigative efforts are underway to trace both the unidentified vehicle and its driver responsible for the collision.
