The breakthrough came when officers stopped a motorcycle that was riding without a registration number plate. Upon questioning, the rider failed to produce any valid documents for the vehicle. Suspicious, the police team promptly checked the vehicle's engine and chassis numbers on the official Madhya Pradesh Regional Transport Office (RTO) website.
The digital check revealed the shocking truth: the two-wheeler had been reported stolen in a case registered earlier at the Govindpura police station itself. This immediate digital verification was crucial in establishing the crime.
Recovery of Stolen Vehicles Worth Lakhs
Following the initial interception, the suspect was taken into custody and brought to the police station for further interrogation. Based on the information extracted from him, the police teams conducted raids and managed to locate and seize a total of 13 stolen two-wheelers.
