Gurgaon Executive Found Dead, Suspected Overdose

A 29-year-old executive working with a government organization was discovered dead in his rented flat in Sector 53, Gurgaon, on Thursday morning. Police suspect he may have died due to an overdose of sexual enhancement pills.

Investigation Underway

According to sources, authorities are awaiting the postmortem report to confirm the exact cause of death. The suspicion arose after medication was found next to his body. The deceased, originally from Nagpur, lived alone. A source revealed that he was recently engaged and expected a visit from his fiancée soon.

Sequence of Events

Police received a call at 10:05 am from a colleague who became concerned after the man did not answer his phone or open his door. The man commuted daily with four to five colleagues. The first call was made around 8 am, and after repeated attempts, colleagues reached his flat at 9 am. His family had also been trying to contact him.

Police broke open the door and found him lying inside, covered with a bedsheet. The door was locked from inside with no signs of forced entry. “There is a possibility that he consumed more than the prescribed dosage of the enhancement pill, which may have led to a sudden spike in blood pressure,” a source said.

Legal Proceedings

No foul play has been detected so far. Inquest proceedings under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita have been initiated at Sector 53 police station. The body has been preserved for postmortem, which will be conducted on Friday after the man’s family arrives from Nagpur.
