According to police reports, the incident occurred around 9:50 pm in front of the G Town liquor shop. The victim was sitting in his car with a friend, having gone to the location to purchase wine. Two women, described as wearing pink and black tops, approached the vehicle and requested cigarettes. The man in the pink top allegedly opened the car door after receiving a cigarette and made objectionable advances, grabbing the complainant's hand and pinching his finger.
Feeling uncomfortable, the complainant instructed his friend to drive away from the spot. However, after moving approximately 200 metres, he discovered that his gold ring was missing. Suspecting that the woman had stolen it during the interaction, he returned to the scene, but the two women had already fled the area.
Police Investigation and Legal Action
A police officer involved in the case stated that the accused had been in the area for about 15 minutes prior to the incident. Authorities are currently working to identify the women, with efforts focused on gathering and analyzing CCTV footage from the vicinity.
