Jewellery Store Manager Accused of Major Theft in Gurgaon

In a shocking incident in Gurgaon, a store manager at a jewellery shop on Golf Course Road has allegedly absconded with a significant amount of cash and valuable gold items. The theft occurred at House of Ring, where the accused, Vishal Yadav, was employed as the store manager.

Details of the Alleged Theft

According to the complaint filed by Sumit Garg, Vishal Yadav fled with Rs 1.28 lakh in cash and 20 gold rings from the jewellery store. The complainant has demanded strict legal action and the recovery of the stolen valuables. A thorough inspection of the store later confirmed that the cash and gold rings were missing. In response, police have registered an FIR against Vishal Yadav under Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which deals with theft by a clerk or servant of property in their employer's possession. Separate Telecom Equipment Theft Incident

In a related development, another theft case has emerged in Gurgaon. Mandeep Kumar, a legal executive with SG EncoN (affiliated with Reliance Jio), reported the theft of a 1.74 KW SMPS unit from a telecom tower located in Nathupur village, DLF Phase 3.

The theft was discovered on March 25 after a site alarm was triggered. Technician Vivek Anand arrived at the location and found the equipment missing. Despite efforts by company staff to trace the stolen unit, they were unsuccessful, leading to the matter being reported to the police.

A case has been registered at the DLF Phase 3 police station under relevant provisions of the BNS. Police have stated that both incidents are currently under investigation, with teams deployed to trace the accused in the jewellery theft and identify those involved in the telecom equipment theft.

Ongoing Investigations

Authorities are actively working on both cases, utilizing available evidence such as CCTV footage and witness statements. The public is urged to come forward with any information that might assist in resolving these crimes. The incidents highlight concerns about security and employee trust in retail and infrastructure sectors in the Gurgaon area.
