A 26-year-old shift manager working at Badshapur’s M3M Mall in Gurgaon tragically died after he slipped and fell through an opening from basement 1 to basement 2 of the building, according to police reports. The victim, identified as Rizwan, was a native of Tarbaganj village in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. He resided in Sector 85 of Gurgaon and was employed as a shift manager at a fast-food outlet located within the M3M Mall. The accident occurred around 2:30 PM on Thursday, when Rizwan fell approximately 15 feet between the two basement levels.
Police authorities stated that it remains unclear why Rizwan ventured into the basement area at the time of the incident. An official investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the fall. Officers are specifically examining whether any safety lapses occurred during ongoing maintenance work and if adequate warning signs were positioned near the opening.
