A tragic incident unfolded in Gurgaon's Sector 9 late Sunday evening, where a 33-year-old man allegedly strangled his wife to death before dying by suicide in their rented residence. The victims have been identified as Deepak Kumar, 33, and his 28-year-old wife, Sonam Bai, originally from Chawar Colony on Khudanpuri Road in Alwar, Rajasthan, who had been living in Gurgaon for work.

The horrifying scene was discovered by the couple's 10-year-old son, who was playing in another room during the incident. According to police reports, the child entered the bedroom and found his father's body hanging.
