Police confirmed the details on Friday, highlighting the severity of the attack that has left the local community alarmed.
Details of the Late-Night Attack
The incident unfolded around 1:50 AM when Divya Parkash, a resident of Ansal Society in Sector 67, stopped at a tea stall with his friends Hansraj, Rahul, Himanshu, and Manish. According to Parkash's complaint, two unidentified men arrived on a motorcycle, briefly halted at the stall, and fled immediately after leaving the two-wheeler behind.
Shortly thereafter, a Grand Vitara car reached the spot, and two occupants stepped out to question the youths about the motorcycle riders. When the group stated they had no information, one of the men allegedly slapped Hansraj, accusing them of lying. As Hansraj tried to defend himself, the situation escalated rapidly.
Escalation and Brutal Assault
Within moments, three more individuals from the same car joined in, surrounding the youths and launching a vicious attack with iron rods. The assailants blocked the victims' attempts to flee and continued the assault relentlessly. During the chaos, Parkash reported being hit from behind by the Vitara car, resulting in injuries to his stomach and nose.
The attackers also issued death threats as the youths tried to escape, adding to the terror of the situation. In addition to the physical violence, the accused vandalized two vehicles belonging to the victims by striking them with iron rods and allegedly stole personal belongings, including a purse, spectacles, and a watch, from Parkash's car.

Police were first alerted about the incident by a private hospital in Sector 53, where the injured were taken for treatment. However, the victims left soon after receiving medical attention.
