In a significant breakthrough, Hazaribag district police have successfully apprehended six individuals linked to a spate of mobile phone snatching incidents that plagued the bustling Bada Bazar OP area. The arrests were made during a meticulously planned operation on Monday night, culminating in the recovery of 19 stolen mobile phones along with a scooty and a motorcycle from the accused.

- Amar Kumar alias Bablu (19)
- Pawan Kumar (23)
- Mohammad Hasnen (24)
- Sumit Kumar (23)
All the apprehended individuals are residents of various localities under Hazaribag district, highlighting the localized nature of the criminal network.
Substantial Recovery of Stolen Property
Hazaribag SP Anjani Anjan confirmed the successful operation and provided detailed insights into the recoveries made. Fourteen mobile phones were directly recovered from the accused, which were specifically used in the snatching incidents. During subsequent verification procedures, five additional mobile phones were seized, bringing the total recovery to 19 devices.
