A serious road accident involving two heavy goods vehicles caused significant disruption and left one person injured on Tuesday in Hazaribag district. The incident occurred at the busy Satmil Chowk roundabout located on the Hazaribag-Giridih road within the Bishnugarh block.

The accident was a head-on collision between a truck carrying stones and another truck laden with coal. According to reports, the coal-laden truck, which bore a registration number from Nagaland, was en route to Hazaribag when the crash happened. The driver of the stone-laden truck sustained injuries in the impact.
In a concerning turn of events, the driver and a helper from the Nagaland-registered coal truck allegedly fled the scene immediately after the collision. This left the injured driver of the stone truck at the site until authorities arrived.
