The court has specifically called for the personal appearance of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), the DCP (East), and a gazetted officer from the Lucknow Municipal Corporation at the next hearing. Prior to their appearance, these officers have been explicitly ordered to conduct a detailed, on-the-ground inspection of the entire affected corridor. This inspection must identify the precise bottlenecks causing the congestion and propose concrete, actionable remedies.

The bench expressed serious concern that multiple PILs concerning this same issue have been heard over time, yet tangible results remain elusive. The court made it clear that accountability will be fixed if the authorities fail to present a viable and workable plan to alleviate the traffic chaos.
