In a significant development, the Moinabad police in Hyderabad have officially registered an attempt to murder case against businessman Namith Sharma. The charges stem from an incident where Sharma allegedly fired shots into the air at the farmhouse belonging to former BRS MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy on Saturday night.

Investigators have uncovered that Sharma arrived at the controversial farmhouse accompanied by TDP MP Putta Mahesh Kumar Yadav. While Sharma originally hails from Jaipur and later relocated to Delhi, the nature of his relationship with Mahesh remains under active investigation by authorities.
Another individual named Kaushik Ravi has been implicated in the case for allegedly supplying drugs to the farmhouse gathering. According to EAGLE officials, Ravi procured the substances from an acquaintance based in Shimla. "Further investigation is necessary to determine the exact source and supply chain of these drugs," confirmed officials from the enforcement agency.
Clarification on Sharma's Background
Despite circulating reports suggesting Sharma might have political affiliations, the Moinabad police have clarified his primary identity as a businessman. "We currently lack first-hand information regarding any potential political connections he might maintain in Rajasthan," stated police representatives, addressing speculation about his background.
Property Seizure Considerations and Past Controversies
Authorities are contemplating formal action against the farmhouse property itself. Police are considering writing to local revenue authorities to request sealing of the premises, citing that owner Rohith Reddy allegedly permitted misuse of his property for illegal activities.
This isn't the first time this particular farmhouse has attracted law enforcement attention. In 2022, during the BRS government's tenure, the location gained notoriety when authorities claimed to have disrupted a conspiracy involving three individuals attempting to lure four BRS MLAs, including Rohit Reddy himself.

Those involved in drug abuse at the farmhouse, including Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar, will be required to participate in mandatory de-addiction programs as part of the legal process. Investigative sources have revealed an interesting pattern among the eleven participants at the farmhouse gathering: "The common link connecting most individuals present appears to be their involvement in the real estate business," disclosed a source familiar with the investigation.

Following the initial bust, EAGLE investigators have formally handed over the case to the Moinabad police for continued examination and further development. Among the substantial evidence collected from the scene was a significant quantity of alcohol, indicating that liquor was brought to the premises without obtaining necessary permissions from the excise department, adding another layer of violation to the case.
