Hyderabad: Three accused in advocate murder case taken into custody

Hyderabad: A day after the court granted permission, Nampally police took three accused, including Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president Mujahid Alam Khan, into their custody on Thursday for their alleged role in the murder of advocate Khaja Moizuddin.

On Thursday morning, a team of policemen from Nampally police station came to Chanchalguda jail and took the three accused into their custody.

The accused will be questioned for two days to know further details about the planning, conspiracy and execution of the murder, where Khaja died after he was hit with an SUV in Shanti Nagar.

Hyderabad police earlier arrested Mujahid, his father Mehboob Alam Khan and five others. Police alleged that the father-and-son duo conspired and engaged hired killers to kill Khaja, as he was working against the interests of Mehboob and Mujahid by filing cases.
