The caller introduced himself as gangster Ghanshyam Puria, claiming to be staying in England and hailing from Tarn Taran. According to police, the suspect used the phone number +60424557322 to make calls and send SMS messages demanding the hefty sum.

Authorities are now investigating the case, tracing the origin of the calls and the identity of the caller. The police have registered a case and are working to determine if the caller is indeed linked to any criminal network or if it is a case of impersonation.
