Details of the Theft Incident

According to Vijay Nagar police, a theft case was registered on Saturday following a complaint by Naman Waghela, a resident of Mahalaxmi Nagar who operates a sanitary business in the city. Waghela reported that he was traveling on his scooter in the Bombay Hospital area when a young man approached him on the road.

The stranger requested a lift, claiming he needed to reach Dewas Naka. Moved by the intense heat and wanting to help, Waghela allowed him to sit on the pillion seat of the scooter. He dropped the individual near Dewas Naka before proceeding to a bank and later returning home.

In footage from a camera installed near a hotel, the suspect was clearly seen putting his hand into the bag hanging behind the scooter while riding pillion. This evidence has become crucial in identifying the accused, who remains unidentified as of now.
