ISI Spy Suspect Moved to Jaipur Central Investigation Centre

A man suspected of spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI was moved to the Central Investigation Centre in Jaipur on Friday, a day after his detention from the Kharia border area under Jaisalmer's Nachna police station. A joint team from the special branch's technical cell in Jaipur and local border intelligence police transported him following initial questioning.

Details of Alleged Espionage

During interrogation, several details emerged. Over the past two years, the suspect allegedly sent dozens of photos and videos of strategic importance to an ISI handler. It is alleged that the ISI deposited significant sums into his and his relatives' accounts.

According to reliable sources, Mustak Ali told the Jaipur team that an ISI handler contacted him through his Pakistan-based cousin in June 2024. He was instructed to share photos, videos, and information about army movements in Jaisalmer.

Exchanged Materials

Ali reportedly recorded and sent across the border photos and videos of water points, hospitals, border roads, military movements, a video of the outer area of the Jaisalmer Military Station, and other infrastructure. In return, small amounts of money were deposited into his, relatives', and friends' accounts. Preliminary information indicates that approximately Rs 25,000 in total was deposited.

Investigation Continues

Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover the full extent of the espionage network. The suspect remains in custody at the Central Investigation Centre in Jaipur.
