Jaipur IT Manager Alleges Gang-Rape by CEO, Executive's Husband; Trio Detained
Jaipur IT manager alleges gang-rape by CEO, others; trio held

In a shocking incident that has sent ripples through Jaipur's corporate circles, a manager from a private IT firm has accused her company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the husband of an executive head of gang-raping her inside a moving vehicle. The alleged crime took place during what was supposed to be a birthday celebration for the CEO.

The Night of the Alleged Assault

The sequence of events, as detailed in the police complaint, began on the night of December 20 in the Sukher area of Jaipur. The survivor, an IT manager based in the city, attended a combined birthday and New Year party for the CEO at a hotel in Shobhagpura. The gathering, which lasted from around 9 PM to 1:30 AM, involved heavy consumption of alcohol.

As the party concluded, the woman was in a severely intoxicated and nearly unconscious state. It was at this point that the CEO, a woman who holds the position of executive head in the company, and the executive head's husband offered to drop the survivor back at her residence.

A Sinister Detour and the Alleged Crime

Instead of taking her home directly, the trio made a stop at a local shop. There, they reportedly coerced the incapacitated manager into consuming an item that resembled a cigarette. This substance allegedly rendered her completely unconscious.

The survivor stated in her complaint that when she partially regained her senses during the journey, she discovered the CEO molesting her while the executive head's husband was raping her inside the car. Despite her pleas to be taken home immediately, she was reportedly dropped off only around 5 AM, hours after the party had ended.

Dashcam Evidence and Police Action

Gathering courage, the survivor later reviewed the footage from the car's dashcam, which is said to have recorded the entire horrific incident. Armed with this evidence, she filed a formal complaint with the police on December 23.

The Jaipur police have acted swiftly on the serious allegations. All three accused individuals—the male CEO, the female executive head, and her husband—have been detained for questioning. A case of gang-rape has been officially registered against them.

The investigation is being personally supervised by Additional Superintendent of Police Madhuri Verma of the Women's Crime Unit. Authorities are currently awaiting the medical examination report, which will be a crucial piece of evidence as the probe moves forward.

In adherence to the directives of the Supreme Court of India, the identity of the survivor has been kept confidential to protect her privacy in this sensitive case of sexual assault.
