The sequence of events began on Tuesday afternoon when authorities received a distressing alert through the police control room at approximately 3:30 PM. The report indicated that a man with a slit throat was lying near the toll plaza. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered that the injured individual had already been transported to a private hospital for emergency care. He was subsequently referred to SMS Hospital, where medical professionals declared him dead upon examination.
Immediate action was taken to secure the crime scene, with the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) mobile unit summoned to collect vital evidence. In a significant development, the victim's uncle filed a formal complaint, stating that Sattar Khan had left his residence after receiving a phone call from Inayat Hussain. Hours later, the family was notified by police that Khan had been admitted to the hospital in a critically injured state.
