The case began on November 22 when two schoolgirls, aged 14 and 16 years, disappeared while returning home from their educational institution. Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur confirmed that an immediate FIR was registered following the distressing incident.
Speaking about the police response, Commissioner Kaur stated that a specialized team from Division Number 8 police station sprang into action without delay. The operation was personally supervised by ADCP-I and ACP North, demonstrating the high priority given to the case by police leadership.
