Kanpur Children Safely Recovered in Ghaziabad Following Police Investigation
In a swift and coordinated police operation, three minor children from Kanpur who had left their homes and traveled to Ghaziabad by train were safely recovered. The incident, which occurred in the Babupurwa police station area, involved children who are friends with each other and departed on March 5.
Police Action and Investigation Details
Upon being informed by the family members, the police immediately launched an investigation. DCP (South) Deependra Nath Chaudhary stated that the investigation was conducted based on CCTV footage and other crucial evidence. Two police teams were promptly dispatched to Ghaziabad, leading to the safe recovery of all three children.
"In the course of the complaint registered by the family members in the case, necessary legal proceedings are being carried out. Medical examination of the children is being conducted and their custody will be handed over through the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). No criminal activity has come to light in the investigation so far," said DCP Chaudhary.
