Kanpur: Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Ravindra Kumar conducted an inspection of major intersections and routes in the city on Tuesday to ensure smooth, safe, and well-organized traffic management.

Physical Surveys Conducted at Key Locations

During the inspection, physical surveys were carried out at Rocket crossing, Narona Chauraha, Chunniganj Chauraha, and Harsh Nagar Chauraha areas. The DCP directed auto and e-rickshaw drivers to operate only on designated routes. He inspected vehicles on the spot to assess compliance with traffic rules.

Awareness and Enforcement Measures

The drivers were made aware of the need to strictly follow traffic regulations, avoid causing unnecessary obstructions on roads, and pay special attention to passenger safety. Officers concerned were issued necessary directives to make traffic management more effective.

Strengthening Traffic Arrangements
