Two individuals arrived at the scene, with one standing guard outside on a motorcycle while the other entered the premises. Police Investigation and Arrests

Upon receiving the complaint, the Naubasta Station House Officer (SHO) immediately formed three dedicated teams to investigate the case. Utilizing CCTV footage and other forensic evidence, the teams tracked the movements of the suspects, leading to a breakthrough within two days.

The thieves were identified as Vivek Dixit and Shivprasad. During interrogation, they confessed to their crime and revealed that they had sold the stolen idols to a man named Anil, who resides in the Gajner area of Kanpur Dehat. Based on this information, the police arrested Anil as well, making him an accused in the case.

All three individuals—Vivek Dixit, Shivprasad, and Anil—were subsequently arrested and sent to jail. The police recovered all the stolen idols and items, ensuring that the shop owner's losses were fully mitigated.
