Kanpur Lamborghini Crash Leaves Three Injured, Vehicle Seized by Police
A high-speed Lamborghini, allegedly driven by Shivam Mishra, the son of prominent tobacco magnate KK Mishra, crashed into pedestrians on VIP Road in Kanpur on Sunday afternoon, resulting in three individuals sustaining injuries. The incident occurred around 3:15 PM under the jurisdiction of the Gwaltoli police station, sending shockwaves through the city.
Details of the VIP Road Accident
According to police reports, the luxury sports car collided with three people who were standing near the roadside close to Rev-3. Among the victims was a man riding a Bullet motorcycle, who was thrown onto the road due to the impact. The Lamborghini subsequently landed on the front wheel of the motorcycle, causing significant damage.
Following the crash, an angry crowd quickly gathered around the vehicle. Shivam Mishra was found unconscious inside the car. His bouncers, who arrived in a separate vehicle, intervened aggressively, pushing people away to protect him. Police personnel reached the spot promptly, removed Shivam Mishra from the scene, and transported both the injured victims and Mishra to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The Lamborghini was taken to the police station for further investigation.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Atul Srivastava confirmed that the police later seized the vehicle and registered a formal case based on a complaint. Authorities stated that Shivam Mishra was speeding at the time of the crash, which contributed to the severity of the accident.
