How the Victim Met the Accused

The victim stated that she first encountered Dharmendra alias Neeraj, a resident of Gadariyanpurwa in the Sachendi area, during a family function. Over time, their conversations deepened, and they grew closer. She alleged that Dharmendra established physical relations with her multiple times, repeatedly assuring her that he would marry her.

Family Confrontation and Refusal

After approximately four years, the victim, accompanied by her family members, visited the accused's residence to discuss marriage. However, she claimed that Dharmendra and his family members not only hurled abuses at them but also flatly refused to proceed with the marriage. This led the victim to seek legal recourse.

Police Response and Investigation

Station in-charge Deenanath Mishra confirmed that based on the victim's complaint, a case has been registered under relevant sections against Dharmendra alias Neeraj, Dheerendra, Pankaj alias Sher Singh, Maan Singh, Rani Devi, and Shravan Kumar. He assured that the matter is under investigation and further action is being taken accordingly.

The case highlights the ongoing issue of sexual exploitation under the guise of marriage, prompting authorities to delve deeper into the allegations.
