Kerala HC Suspends Judicial Officer Over Forged Claim

The Kerala High Court has suspended Additional Munsiff–III Tiara Rose Mary from service following allegations of irregularities in her medical reimbursement claim.

Suspension Order Issued

An order issued by the High Court's district judiciary registrar stated that she had been suspended over allegations of misconduct in claiming substantial amounts as medical reimbursement through forged documents. The order further directed her to hand over charge to Principal Munsiff Anne Marie Kuriakose Manalel until further directions.

Allegations of Forged Documents

The controversy began with allegations that she had submitted a reimbursement claim reportedly connected to cosmetic treatment using forged documents. Accordingly, the High Court initiated an inquiry through the district judiciary registrar, which resulted in her suspension from service pending further action in the matter.

Previous Controversy

This is not the first time Tiara Rose Mary has been involved in controversy. Her name had previously surfaced in 2024 when she approached the High Court with a complaint against her superior judicial officer, the chief judicial magistrate of Kottayam, alleging harassment at both personal and professional levels.

The suspension underscores the judiciary's commitment to maintaining integrity and accountability among its officers.
