The incident unfolded when a fast-moving trailer violently rammed into a scooter from behind at the busy Navgrah intersection. Two individuals were riding the scooter at the time of impact. Following the collision, the trailer dragged both victims for a considerable distance before coming to a stop.
One of the scooter riders, identified as Prakash Verma, came directly under the wheels of the massive trailer, sustaining severe and extensive injuries to both his legs. The force of the impact caused immediate and irreversible damage to his lower limbs.

Both injured individuals were immediately rushed to the district hospital following the accident. Prakash Verma, a fruit seller residing in the Mata Chowk area of Tavdi, was found to be in such critical condition that medical professionals quickly referred him to a specialized facility in Indore for advanced treatment.
Dr. Aditya Jadhav from the district hospital provided initial medical assessment, confirming that one of Prakash's feet had been completely severed in the accident, while the other foot suffered severe crushing injuries along with significant trauma to his head.
