According to an eyewitness named Rajesh, the accident transpired around 8:30 PM. Deepak Kumar was seated inside the trolley attached to the tractor when the driver operated the vehicle recklessly. This sudden movement caused Deepak to fall off, and he was subsequently crushed under the right wheel of the tractor. Rajesh, who was standing near a petrol pump at the time, witnessed the horrifying event and immediately sought assistance from passers-by.

With the help of bystanders, Deepak was urgently transported to a hospital using a tempo truck. The tractor involved in the incident was described as red in colour and bore the registration number HR-55 AJ 4274, details that have been noted by the authorities for further investigation.

Family's Ordeal and Medical Timeline

The victim's brother, Dinesh Kumar, recounted the distressing news received by the family. They were initially contacted by the New Colony police station regarding the accident. While en route to Gurgaon, they were informed that Deepak had succumbed to his injuries at PGIMS Rohtak, a medical facility where he was undergoing treatment.

Deepak was first taken to Civil Hospital in Sector 10 for immediate medical attention. Due to the severity of his condition, he was later referred to PGIMS Rohtak, where he tragically passed away during the course of treatment. This referral highlights the critical nature of the injuries sustained in the accident.

Legal Proceedings and Ongoing Investigation

In response to the incident, police have initiated legal action based on a complaint filed by Dinesh Kumar and supporting medical records. A case has been officially registered under sections 281, pertaining to rash driving, and 106, concerning death by negligence, of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the New Colony police station.
