Chandigarh: Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Kills Parry Weeks After His Wedding, Family Alleges
Lawrence Bishnoi gang kills Parry after his wedding: Family

The family of a man, known as Parry, is in deep mourning after he was brutally gunned down in Chandigarh. They allege the murder was orchestrated by the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang because Parry wanted to leave his criminal past behind and start a new, peaceful life after getting married just weeks ago.

A New Beginning Cut Short

According to grieving family members, Parry had taken a pivotal decision to abandon the world of crime. This resolve came after his wedding on November 13, 2025. He was eager to start afresh with his new bride. The family emphasized that they are affluent and had no need for extortion money, further supporting Parry's genuine desire for a normal life.

The Fateful Day: A Detailed Account

Recounting his last hours, the family stated that on the day of the murder, Parry left home around 4 pm to drop off his new wife. Upon returning, he received a call from a friend and went out again. He met friends at the Sector 26 club.

It was there that he allegedly received a call from Lawrence Bishnoi himself. Bishnoi reportedly called him to the timber market to discuss a personal issue, assuring Parry that an associate would accompany him. Tragically, when Parry reached the specified spot, he was shot dead by aides of the Bishnoi gang.

Family's Anguish and Betrayal

The killing has devastated the family. Parry's mother has been sent into a state of shock and is not fully conscious. Speaking to TOI, Parry's brother, Harneet Singh, who is an ASI with the Punjab Police, revealed a painful detail. He said Lawrence Bishnoi was a frequent visitor to their house and would often stay overnight.

"Our mother would feed Lawrence like her own son," Harneet Singh rued, "and he repaid her love by killing Parry." The family believes the gang was unhappy with Parry's decision to lead a normal life and that his unwillingness to remain associated with Bishnoi or other gangsters was the primary motive for the murder.

Providing context to Parry's legal past, the family mentioned he was facing 12 cases but had been acquitted in eight of them. Parry's father is a retired inspector with the Punjab Police, adding another layer of tragedy to the law enforcement-connected family.
