Bengaluru: The Lokayukta conducted raids on eight government officials across Karnataka on Tuesday after registering cases of disproportionate assets against them. The officials include Rajanna SL, additional director of town planning at Karnataka Housing Board in Bengaluru, who topped the list with assets worth nearly Rs 5 crore.

The other officials raided include Uday Kumar MB, assistant executive engineer at Bescom in Yelahanka, with assets of nearly Rs 4 crore; Harshavardhan PN, deputy conservator of forests in Davanagere, with Rs 2.7 crore; N Siddeshwar Hebbal, chief mechanical engineer at NWKRTC, with Rs 2.6 crore; Sanna Kenchappa, superintendent engineer at KRIDL in Belagavi, with Rs 2.5 crore; Manik S Kanakatte, superintendent engineer at PWD Kalaburagi, with Rs 4.9 crore; KS Mohan, assistant conservator of forests in Chikkamagaluru, with Rs 3.6 crore; and Krishna Naik LA, secretary to Bayaluseeme Area Development Board in Chitradurga, with Rs 2.5 crore.
