CCTV Footage Reveals Swift LPG Cylinder Theft in Gwalior
In a brazen incident captured on surveillance cameras, an LPG cylinder was stolen from outside a gas agency in Gwalior on Saturday. The theft occurred between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM, while the cylinder's owner was inside the agency premises.
Details of the Theft Incident
The victim, identified as Jaswant Jatav, a resident of Utila village, had visited the gas agency to register his cylinder number. Following standard procedure, he left his LPG cylinder outside the agency while he attended to paperwork at the counter.
CCTV footage from the location shows an unidentified man loitering near the cylinder before quickly picking it up and walking away with it. The entire theft was executed in less than 60 seconds, with no bystanders noticing the crime as it unfolded.
Aftermath and Police Response
When Jaswant Jatav returned to collect his cylinder, he discovered it was missing. Despite conducting a thorough search of the surrounding area, he was unable to locate the stolen property.
Local police authorities have confirmed that no formal written complaint has been filed regarding the incident as of now. However, investigative efforts are underway to identify the individual captured in the CCTV footage.
